~Don’t Cry for me Argentina!!~

My friends and I went to visit a good friend of ours who has been living in Buenos Aires this past year.  She was an amazing tour guide and it was great to be able to see the “hidden places” only a locals would know 🙂  At the start of the trip after spending the day in BA we  headed over to Mendoza for a couple days to check out the great wineries and beautiful views of the Andes!  Once back in BA we took a break from sightseeing to play a little Polo and have a true Asado (Argentinian bbq) it was sooo good!  I had such a great time and hope you enjoy the pictures!

Recommendations if you go:

Mendoza:

Ampora Wine tour (ask for Ramido for your tour guide and definitely have lunch at Andeluna winery.. yum, yum and yum!)

Mr. Hugo  – Wine Bike Tour

Vines of Mendoza

We took the overnight bus from BA, and it was really nice and comfortable…. Cata International was great… I would always take a bus if they were like this one!

Buenos Aires:

Museo Evita Resturant – The Pastel de papa y merengue dulce (pictured above) sooo good!

Las Violetas – Great steak!

El Boliche De Roberto – Cheap wine and great live music!

Polo – Such a fun day!

But most of all check out the landmarks, then enjoy lots of wine, steak, empanadas and helado… my personal favorite is a scoop of mascarpone and a scoop of dulce de leche…two scoops for the price of one! Can’t beat that!  And lastly… worry about the gym you get home 🙂
